Prepares, allocates and transports election materials to and from polling places; prepares and tests ballot tabulation equipment. Tabulates ballots. Provides election results.

Receives and maintains official city documents. Issues regulated business licenses. Processes licenses for liquor sales, off-track betting, and bingo. Administers city land annexations. Facilitates city council meetings. Conducts city elections and accepts and verifies candidate nomination petitions and other required documentation. Administers initiative, referendum, and recall petition services.

Provides voter registration services and maintains voter registration rolls.

Coordinates and administers Primary and General elections. Conducts elections in the Town of Parker, Town of Quartzsite, school districts, and other special districts for local office holders and bond issues.

Directs, administers, and conducts Federal, State and County elections within Apache County. Disseminates general information for candidates, campaign finance, and political and voting information.
