Provides legal help to non-citizens detained by ICE. Explains their legal rights, screens and interviews, coordinates referrals, and represents detainees in bond hearings and some merit hearings.

Administers Red Cross services in Apache, Coconino, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, Pinal, and Yavapai counties.

Provides assistance to local disaster (home/apartment fires, floods, etc.) victims who have immediate, disaster-related needs 24-hours a day allocated on a case-by-case basis. Assistance can include shelter, food, clothing, reunifying families after a disaster, mental health counseling and health services for disaster victims. Also provides information on disaster preparedness.

Administers a variety of social service programs in Ajo, Green Valley, Tucson, and Payson.

Administers various community center programs to the local community and operates multiple community health centers in Maricopa County.

Administers medical respite centers for adults recovering from acute illnesses or injuries. Also administers mobile healthcare teams that provides primary, preventive and behavioral healthcare. The teams travel to all parts of Maricopa County, providing care in parks, permanent supportive housing complexes, social services, community agencies and more.

Assists asylees, immigrants, parolees, refugees, Special Immigrant Visa holders (SIVs), and human trafficking survivors. Assists with asylum applications, family-based petitions, citizenship, permanent residency, replacement of lost or stolen documents, Special Protected Status Deferred Enforced Departure, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), visas, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions, and family reunification. Drop-in SIV services include reception and placement, matching grants, Preferred Communities, employment services, cultural orientation, and state Refugee Resettlement Program (RRP) benefits.

Coordinates free income tax return preparation for people with low to moderate income. Also works to educate the public about the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Child Tax Credit (CTC).
