Provides advocacy for older adults and their families and caregivers to resolve problems involving health insurance, Social Security, hospitals, housing, collection agencies, guardianship, conservatorship, and other issues. Also provides help with evaluating or applying for benefits.

Ombudsmen identify, investigate, and resolve complaints made by or on behalf of residents in long term care facilities, including adult foster care, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities. Also serve as advocates for residents in long term care facilities regarding resident rights, quality of care, quality of life, and access to service.

Provides prevention and intervention programs for youth experiencing, witnessing, or using interpersonal violence that includes domestic violence, sexual assault or harassment, teen dating abuse, gender-based violence, stalking, and coercive control. Also offers trusted adult ally response trainings, peer advocate leadership academies, community outreach, and awareness campaigns. Adapted services now available for youth and individuals with disabilities.

Provides assistance to and advocacy for residents of long term care and assisted living facilities in understanding and maintaining their human and civil rights and ensuring quality of life and quality of care. Services provided by various Area Agency on Aging (see separate listings).

Services include family caregiver support and respite, long term care ombudsman, assistance with Medicare, AHCCCS, and other health insurance programs, volunteer recruitment and placement, and mileage reimbursement for senior passengers who must rely on others for transportation. *** Due to a change in funding, new client services are subject to wait lists. ***

Provides crime victim accompaniment services, specialized crime victim assistance, individual advocacy, case management, community based counseling services, and specialized information and referral for adults age 50 and older who are victims of late life domestic violence, sexual assault, or elder abuse.

Advocates for the needs of children and their families state-wide. Provides a forum of empowerment and unification for the coalition of public and private organizations that administer Head Start programs and work to improve the lives of Arizona's children. Offers innovative services that are grounded in equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Multi-generational facility features a gymnasium, activity rooms and an auditorium with programs for youth, adults, and seniors. Provides advocacy for seniors. Transportation for current members only from residence to the center and back to the residence.

Provides crisis shelter up to 120 days and supportive services for adults and their children who are fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault or human trafficking. Offers case management, lay legal and individual advocacy, and referrals to participants. Pet Companion Center offers shelter for pets of families in the shelter.

Provides services for victims of abuse and sexual assault. Services include advocacy, basic needs, case management, crisis response, educational information, forensic exams and interviews, information about and referrals to community resources, legal advocacy, and safety planning.

Provides various free services for seniors 60 or older. Also offers additional services for seniors 60 and older in all of Yuma County. Those services include friendly phone calls, Notes of Encouragement, social activities, community education workshops, information about community programs, advocacy to access services, incontinence supplies, nutritional drinks, and notary service to seniors in all of Yuma County. Offers bottled water for seniors during the summer.

Provides gender-inclusive, non-discriminatory safe bed for adults 18 or older experiencing or at risk of abuse such as sexual or domestic violence, sex trafficking, self-harm including substance use, or homelessness for up to 72-hours as available. Services include a safe bed for those who enroll in the program with a 3 month to 2 year commitment as available. Staff are certified and trained in domestic sexual violence advocacy, as well as general crime victim advocacy.
