Peoria Community Assistance Division | Peoria Community Assistance Division

Provides emergency home repairs to low and moderate income homeowners. Repairs include plumbing, electrical, furnace and cooling systems, and roofing. The Neighborhood Pride program paints houses and fences and spreads landscaping gravel in targeted neighborhoods. The Tool Lending Center loans tools and equipment to homeowners, renters, and neighborhood groups undertaking landscaping projects, yard clean-ups, community rebuilding, and other improvement projects.

Performs minor home repairs for seniors and people with disabilities. Offers assistance with air conditioner repair and home weatherization. Effective April 22, 2025, the Weatherization Assistance Program - provided by AllThrive 365 (formerly Foundation for Senior Living/FSL) for select Arizona communities - has been temporarily placed on hold due to the uncertainty of federal funding for the upcoming fiscal year. At this time, we do not have a confirmed date for when services will resume.

Payson Homeless and Homeless Veterans Initiative | Payson Homeless and Homeless Veterans Initiative

Provides services to people experiencing homelessness. Services include shelter, meals, showers, coats, blankets, sleeping bags, return to origin transportation and personal hygiene items. For those staying overnight, a sack lunch is provided for the next day. There are 30 beds to offers overnight stay during inclement weather and in-area emergencies. Also provides warming center in the winter, this is the only extreme weather shelter in Gila County.

Provides for the repair and maintenance of existing stock of housing built previously from Federal funding sources. Provides for the management of Rental Housing built and maintained through Federal funding and implementation of Community policies on said rental units. Provides for the awareness education to tenants of housing regarding drugs, violence and gangs within the Community. Serve rental and homeownership tenants by annual certifications and inspections. Provides housing counseling services, and intake for eligibility for housing assistance.

One Small Step, Inc | One Small Step, Inc

Provides clothing, hygiene items, shoes, and basic linens to people in need through the Clothes Cabin program. Clients may visit once every three months if needed and receive approximately 8-10 articles of clothing per person. Also offers laundry service, storage lockers, showers, and mailboxes to clients who are homeless. The Back-to-Work program provides uniforms and other items to people who are newly employed.
