Sister Jose Women's Center | Sister Jose Women's Center

Provides a day center and overnight shelter for individuals that identify as female or non-binary who are homeless. Offers breakfast, clothing, pet food, personal hygiene supplies, and shower and laundry facilities, and help applying and paying for identification documents. Case workers are available to provide referrals to additional services. Center is pet-friendly. Also offers a warming center in the winter.

Provides day program for homeless adults with a serious mental illness who are referred by the RAPP program. Includes breakfast and lunch, personal hygiene kit, shower, and laundry facilities. Also provides coordinated entry access for housing assessments and to screen for additional services.

Keys to Change | Keys to Change

Provides drop-in center and support services for single adults who are homeless. Services include respite from the weather, restrooms, water, and Post Office services. Also includes assistance to apply for birth certificates, state ID, and DES benefits; and computer classes; employment preparation and job search assistance; pastoral counseling; mental health and substance abuse treatment; peer support services; and 12-step meetings. Offers referrals to community partners including shelter, medical, and dental care. Provides housing assessments for adults who are homeless. Based on the assessment, people who are the most in need are placed on the community-wide priority list. Local agencies use the list to get clients. Includes screening for additional services. Site for coordinated entry into housing. Offers Aid to Stranded Travelers for Nonresidents experiencing homelessness who find themselves stranded and in crisis situations in the Phoenix area. Issues replacement state-issued IDs.

Services include help to get identification documents, apply for benefits, and connect with additional resources. After intake, ongoing members can come every day for more services including breakfast, lunch, snacks, personal hygiene items, Nurses Clinic, and recreational activities. Also includes the use of showers, restrooms, free laundry service, rental lockers, computers, Wi-Fi, and phones.
